Spend only 1-2 hours a week and provide your expertise in Dermatology by conducting Utilization Reviews in the Utilization Management / Peer Review process.  A current Indiana or Minnesota medical license is required (or current IMLC approval) .

Medical Review Institute of America, LLC (MRIoA) is a national Independent Review Organization (IRO), who facilitates the review of medical claims to determine treatment appropriateness; also known as Peer Review or Utilization Review.

IS REVIEW WORK FOR ME ?

  • Are you interested in staying informed of changes and knowing what treatments are being utilized by other Dermatologists?
  • Are you interested in learning more about how to get your own patient’s treatment approved?
  • Most MRIoA reviewers average 1-2 hours per week, however, there are no minimum expectations.
  • Each case typically take 30-60 minutes to complete.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION :

  • You will be covered under MRIoA’s Errors and Omissions policy (traditional Malpractice Insurance is not applicable for review work)
  • Work anywhere within the USA (Per HIPAA Regulations patient records cannot leave the US).
  • Non-employed Independent Contractor (1099) opportunity.

    • REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be an MD or DO, Board Certified in Dermatology
  • Must have 5 years of patient care experience in Dermatology
  • Must have solid computer navigation skill
  • Must have an unrestricted Indiana or Minnesota state medical licensure, or current approval issued from the IMLC.
  • Must be a US Citizen or hold a Green Card (we are unable to sponsor a VISA)
