Maintenance Tech Trainee – Apprenticeship Program

There is an opportunity for a Maintenance Technician Trainee –at the Altec Midwest Facility in St. Joseph, Missouri. You must be a student enrolled in the Apprenticeship Program at North Central Missouri College in Savannah, MO.

Qualifications :

Student enrolled in the apprenticeship program at North Central Missouri College

Machine knowledge through experience or vocational school training.

Ability to pass applicable testing by the end of the program.

Have basic computer usage knowledge.

Responsibilities :

Troubleshoots automated equipment.

Welds, cuts, brazes, and solders.

Operates and troubleshoots circuit boards, and NC & CNC equipment.

Interprets diagrams and operation manuals.

Operates milling machines and drill presses.

Troubleshoots programmable controllers, machinery, and mechanical equipment.

Works with others to make independent decisions.

Reads blueprints.

Follow payroll timekeeping policies.

Keep track of day-to-day processes in the computer system.

Self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision.
