Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Ultrasound Tech - Vascular Ultrasound Tech

\n\n

Job Details : \n

  • Perform high quality general ultrasound including abdomen, OB / GYN, and vascular studies in accordance with all policies and procedures

    • \n

  • Competently set up and assist radiologist during procedures

    • \n

  • Work with EMR systems to generate and complete exam orders

    • \n

  • Perform, record, and analyze QC data to maintain accuracy and precision

    • \n

  • Maintain safe and efficient working environment by performing equipment checks and cleaning work areas

    • \n

  • Stand an average of 7-8 hours per workday and walk an average of 6-7 hours per workday

    • \n

  • Transport patients as needed

    • \n

  • Knowledge of PACS systems required for releasing and transmitting images

    • \n

  • Contact service personnel and notify supervisors of malfunctioning equipment

    • \n

  • Work independently with flexibility in schedule and willingness to adjust hours as needed

    • \n

  • Cover other shifts when required

    • \n

  • Graduate from an accredited school of ultrasound required

    • \n

  • RVT registration preferred

    • \n

  • RDMS (AB, OB-GYN) preferred

    • \n

  • BLS certification required

    • \n

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100+ lbs as needed

    • \n

  • Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, and reaching above shoulder level

    • \n

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with professional demeanor required
