Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.\n\nA full-semester contract position is available for a Registered Nurse to support health services within a K-12 educational setting in Washington, PA. This role involves delivering comprehensive nursing care to students, promoting a safe and healthy school environment, and collaborating with school staff and families to address student health needs.\n\nKey Responsibilities : \n

• Provide direct nursing care to students, including assessment, treatment, and management of health conditions\n
• Administer medications and maintain health records in compliance with school policies and regulations\n
• Develop and implement individualized health care plans for students with chronic health issues\n
• Conduct health screenings and immunization audits\n
• Offer health education to students and staff to promote wellness and preventive care\n
• Respond promptly to emergencies and coordinate with emergency medical services as needed\n\nQualifications and Experience : \n
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure, with certification as a School Nurse (CSN) preferred\n
• Proven experience working in a school health setting or pediatric care\n
• Strong understanding of school health policies and legal requirements\n
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with educators, parents, and healthcare providers\n
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic educational environment\n
