FLOATER LITIGATION LEGAL SECRETARY

Immediate hire- Midtown Firm- $80-95K

DESCRIPTION

Midtown law firm is looking for a Commercial Litigation Legal Secretary Floater who ideally has 5+ years of Litigation experience. Must have strong MS Office and communication skills. Must be able to multi-task, and be a team player committed to providing a high level of client service and accurate and professional work product for the attorneys. Flexibility to work overtime. Hybrid 4 / 1 work schedule

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Preparing documents, including briefs and motions, in final format, including redlining, black-lining, TOA's and TOC's in accordance with local courts rules.
• Arranging meetings, travel, expense reimbursements, client bills, scheduling appointments, and maintaining attorneys' calendars.
• Editing drafts of documents such as correspondence, pleadings, discovery demands and responses, requests for production, subpoenas, deposition notices and other legal documents.
• Managing attorney emails in Outlook and saving them in our document management system.
• Accurately entering attorney's billing time.
• Interacting with clients, court personnel, including Judges' law secretaries and court clerks, and other attorney contacts.
• Commercial Litigation experience a plus!
