About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : 3 years required

License : Valid state license required; no temporary licenses accepted

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate required, AWHONN Advanced preferred

Must-Have :

• Must work 3 out of 4 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day)
• Circulation experience required
• Experience in high-risk deliveries

Description :

We are seeking a seasoned Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse.

The nurse will participate in providing care for obstetrical patients.

The unit cares for a variety of pregnancy diagnoses including but not limited to preterm labor, hypertension, multiples, and pre-eclampsia / eclampsia.

Nurses must assist with both vaginal and cesarean deliveries.

The nurse will also need experience with medications used in high-risk antepartum situations.

Candidates must have the ability to monitor fetal heart rate patterns.

Team collaboration with interdisciplinary support such as IV teams and social services is essential.

All nurses are expected to float to different facilities if required.

Candidates will need to provide two supervisory references covering one year within the last three years during the compliance process prior to the start.
