Counseling / Social Work INTERNSHIP

We love our interns! Every school has different requirements of their students, and we work with you and your school to ensure that you gain the knowledge and experience needed to be successful in your chosen field. We have different mental / behavioral health options for you, depending on your interests : Children's Residential Center, Foster Care and Outpatient Counseling.

Depending on your interest and location, internships can be located in Ashland, Richland, Stark or Wayne Counties in Ohio.

Requirements :

Please indicate in your cover letter what you plan to do with your counseling / social work degree, the type of supervision you will need, AND the area in which you would prefer to focus your internship.

Please understand that most of the training will be 1st shift and are state required.

Candidates must be 19 or older to apply. References, background checks and drug screenings will be completed on all potential candidates. Must have valid Ohio Driver's License and maintain a driving record that allows that individual to be insurable. EOE.

This position is contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory background check and drug test, satisfactory reference checks (emails were previously sent to the 3 references listed on your application), as well as the completion of a satisfactory Department of Justice National Sex Offender search and Ohio Alleged Perpetrator Search, as required by our licensing agency.
