About The Position

Position Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist to join our Radiology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality CT imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, privacy, and comfort. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and adherence to established clinical protocols.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform CT imaging procedures while demonstrating professionalism and service excellence.

Verify patient identity and obtain informed consent as per facility policies.

Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring clear communication to reduce anxiety and maintain dignity.

Assess patient history, allergies, and medication compatibility prior to contrast administration.

Monitor patient conditions before and after contrast injections, reporting any adverse reactions.

Adhere to sterile field protocols and ensure cleanliness of CT equipment, gantry, table, and supplies.

Triage, prioritize, and coordinate emergent and unscheduled imaging requests efficiently.

Maintain inventory of contrast media, surgical instruments, and linens in scanning rooms.

Participate in daily quality assurance and quality control procedures per ACR standards.

Complete accurate and timely documentation in PACS / RIS systems following critical cases (e.g., Code Grey, Trauma).

Notify radiologists of any unusual findings or emergent results for optimal patient care.

Maintain compliance with HIPAA and facility safety standards.

Assist with routine procedures, equipment troubleshooting, and reporting malfunctions.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications :

Education : High School Diploma or GED

Completion of a Radiographer Technical Training Program from an accredited School of Radiography or college-based program.

Certifications / Licensure :

ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications

NJDEP and New Jersey State X-Ray License

BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
