BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Java Developer for an job opportunity located in Columbus, OH 43240

Position Title : Java Developer

Location : Columbus, OH 43240

Contract Duration -6 months contract to hire

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per Job Description :

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 6+ years applied experience
• Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Experience in Java and well versed in Spring Boot, Microservices patterns, event-based architecture
• Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages (Java, ReactJS) and database querying languages
• Demonstrable ability to code in one or more languages
• Well versed in both RDBMS and NoSQL
• Experience with micro services and Test-Driven Development architecture
• Experience across the whole Software Development Life Cycle
• Hands-on experience in one or more AWS services specifically ECS / EKS, Lambda, MSK, SNS, API Gateway, Step functions, storage services
• Exposure to agile methodologies such as CI / CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
