About The Position

Position Overview

St. Vincent’s Consultants in Cardiovascular Disease is seeking a Board-Certified Cardiac Electrophysiologist for locum tenens coverage. This role is a combination of inpatient and outpatient care and includes procedures such as a-fib / flutter ablation, pacemaker and ICD implantation, SVT ablations, tilt tables, and Bi-V device implantation .

This is a flexible locum role designed to backfill or bench a provider . Candidates must be able to commit to at least one week per month .

Coverage Dates : September 15–19

September 29 – October 3

October 13–17, 27–31

November 10–14, 24–28

December – ongoing, rotating week on / week off through June 2026

Patient Volume :

Office : ~19 patients / day

Hospital : 8–10 patients / day

Support & Resources :

EP Lab staff, MA, and nursing support in office

APPs available to assist with consults, admissions, and discharges

Requirements :

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiac Electrophysiology

Active DEA, BLS, ACLS

IMLC providers accepted (preference for already licensed providers)

PA Child Abuse requirement for license

Hospital privileging timeframe : 45–60 days

Compensation & Benefits :

Inside 50-mile radius (non-inclusive) :

Regular Rate : $300 / hour

Outside 50-mile radius (includes travel) :

Regular Rate : $350 / hour
