Job Title : Material Handling Equipment Mechanic
Schedule : Monday – Friday, 7 : 45 AM – 4 : 30 PM
Pay : $23 – $30 per hour, depending on experience
Position Overview :
We are seeking a skilled Material Handling Equipment Mechanic to join our team. This role involves inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of equipment including forklifts, excavators, lifts, and other heavy machinery. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with hydraulics, engines, crankshafts, and other mechanical systems.
Responsibilities :
- Diagnose and repair material handling and heavy equipment such as forklifts, excavators, and lifts.
- Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
- Rebuild and repair engines, hydraulics, crankshafts, and related components.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Maintain accurate repair and service records.
- Ensure all work meets safety and operational standards.
Qualifications :
Proven experience as a mechanic working with forklifts, excavators, or other material handling / heavy equipment.Strong knowledge of hydraulics, engines, crankshafts, and mechanical systems.Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.Skilled in the use of diagnostic tools and repair equipment.Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently.Benefits :
