As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the facility, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all employees and visitors. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a welcoming and secure atmosphere. You will utilize technology such as computers or tablets to document activities and communicate with the team. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $14.91 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTime Sat 08 : 00 AM - 08 : 00 PM

Sun 08 : 00 AM - 08 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business areas and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.

Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.

Communicate clearly and professionally with employees, visitors, and / or contractors regarding security-related matters.

Document and report all incidents and security-related activities according to Allied Universal procedures.

What We're Looking For :

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
