As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Unarmed Patrol in Akron, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for employees and visitors. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents, and you will provide exceptional customer service while maintaining open communication with those on site. Position Type : Full Time Pay Rate : $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule : DayTime Thur 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM Fri 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM Sat 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM Sun 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM What You'll Do : Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities : Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within the manufacturing and industrial location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the overall security-related needs of the site. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or access. Working environments and conditions may vary by location. What We're Looking For : Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements : Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
