ICU RN Travel Job Details Location : Salem, MA 01970 (Greater Boston area – New England healthcare jobs) Assignment Length : 13 weeks (November 16, 2025 – February 14, 2026) Hours per Week : 36 hours Shift : Rotating 12-hour shifts (Days / Evenings / Nights & Every Other Weekend) Unit : 20-bed Medical / Surgical ICU (MICU) with required floating to Med / Surg units Patient Ratio : 1 : 2 or 1 : 1 in ICU; up to 1 : 4 or 1 : 5 when floated Charting System : EPIC EMR Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,880 - $2,020 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Massachusetts RN license (required for Massachusetts nursing jobs) Current BLS and ACLS certifications Minimum 3 years of recent ICU nursing experience At least 2 years of continuous experience in one location, preferably in a MICU Proficient in reading and interpreting telemetry strips Willingness to float to Medical / Surgical units as needed Completion of all required onboarding, health, and competency documentation ICU RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to critically ill adult patients in a fast-paced ICU setting Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using EPIC electronic medical records Interpret and respond to telemetry and cardiac monitoring Collaborate with physicians, residents, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans Float to Medical / Surgical units as required, managing up to 4-5 patients when needed Provide emotional support to patients and families during challenging situations Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards Discover the best of New England in Salem, MA—a top destination for healthcare professionals seeking travel RN jobs in Massachusetts.
