Key Job Details - ER RN Travel Assignment Location : Fredericksburg, VA 22408 (Virginia healthcare jobs) Facility Setting : Emergency Department (Main campus & Free Standing ED) Assignment Length : 13 weeks Start Date : November 3, 2025 End Date : February 2, 2026 Shift : 12-hour nights (19 : 00 - 07 : 00) Weekly Hours : 36 Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend Dress Code : Teal scrubs Estimated Weekly Salary : $1630 - $1750 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification Experience with Meditech EMR preferred ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) and TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certifications preferred Strong teamwork and communication skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality patient care in a 14-bed ED, 6-bed observation, and 5-bed VTA unit Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using Meditech 5.6 EMR system Administer medications and perform emergency interventions Operate clinical equipment : monitors, pumps, EKG, rapid infuser, ultrasound Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams including RNs, medics, and techs Float between main campus and Free Standing Emergency Department as needed Maintain patient ratios of 4 : 1, extending to 6 : 1 during peak times Adhere to unit guidelines and hospital policies for safe, effective care Experience Fredericksburg's historic downtown, scenic parks, and welcoming atmosphere while advancing your nursing career.
