Mission description : As a Repair Engineer within Safran Nacelles Services Americas, MRO station based in Indianapolis, you will be in charge of designing and substantiating repairs for aircraft nacelles components. Your responsibilities include designing repair solutions for damages on composite and metallic parts, substantiating structural strength of the repair conducting static and fatigue analysis, and writing associated repair or replacement procedures and stress notes.
Requirements : Comfortable with technical documentation such as maintenance manuals and engineering drawings. Knowledge of composite and metallic structure. Understanding of the fundamental methods of static stress analysis, finite elements methods (FEM). Good English writing and speaking level. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Good organizational skills and attention to details. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Software : MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel. Finite Elements Analysis software : MATLAB, Patran, Nastran. 3D Mock-up Design software : CATIA, Fusion, Solidworks.
