About The Position

ID : 73076006 Shift : 3- 12 hour shifts Nights 7p-7 : 30a 13 week contractREQUIRED : 2+ years experience as a respiratory Description : Job Summary : Under general supervision of the Respiratory Therapy Supervisor, delivers life-support, resuscitation, monitoring and various medical gases therapy to patients. Performs invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures to Intensive Care and General Practice Units patients. Maintains clinical expertise for Departmental assignments at various business units throughout, as assigned. Communicates effectively with patients, co-workers, physicians and other system employees as needed, regarding patient care needs. Adequately documents all aspects of patient care. Supervises, directs and delegates to Respiratory Therapists, Respiratory orients, externs and students, as assigned. Completes necessary and accurate patient billing information. Schedule Notes : 13 week contractREQUIRED : 2+ years experience as a respiratory therapist, Associate of Science Degree, Current registration, current licensure, and BLS certification from AHA.Candidates that have neonatal intensive care experience would be a plus but it is not required.Candidates that have experience working in a Trauma Level 2 facility would be a plus but it is not required.Skills : Required Skills & Experience : -Two years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience. Preferred Skills & Experience : -N / AEducation : Required Education : -Associate of Science Degree, from an accredited Respiratory Therapist program. Preferred Education : -Bachelors in Respiratory Therapy preferred. Required Certification & Licensure : -Registration with the National Board of Respiratory Care. -Current License - Respiratory Therapist in the State of Michigan. -BLS Preferred Certification & Licensure : -N / A This is the pay range that RightSourcing (a part of Magnit) reasonably expects to pay someone for this position, however, as a supplier your expected pay range may vary and / or include certain benefits like : Stipends (for clinical traveler workers only), Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K.
