The Role
\n\n
The Service Technician shall be responsible for servicing BlastOne rental equipment, customer equipment for repair, receiving / fulfilling of rental orders, and other assigned production department needs.
\n\n \n
- Service rentals orders, customer repairs, contractor assembly builds, and in shop troubleshooting.
\n
Complete all rental CICOs within 48 hours of equipment arriving\n
Complete all rental checklists and paperwork prior to equipment shipping\n
Document orders with pictures, copies of shipping documents, and other steps as per the BlastOne standards\n
Make sure all workflows have proper QC checks before leaving the production department area\n
Champion a safe workplace\n
Keep work cell and tools area clean, organized, and ready for work at all times\n
Provide support to other warehouse areas by floating for periods of time based on order demand\n
Communicate in a positive manner with internal and external customers\n
Communicate via phone / email swiftly to confirm or keep work moving through the warehouse as expected\n
Load heavy machinery in a safe manner.\n
Other tasks and duties based upon business needs.\n \n\n
Required Skills / Qualifications
\n\n \n
One to two years of repair / job shop experience\n
Industrial painting / sandblasting experience a plus\n
High school diploma\n
Associate’s degree a plus\n
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle everyday challenges\n
Industrial / construction experience\n
Forklift trained\n
Reliability, you can be counted on to do a great job\n
Winning attitude – you hold your emotions in check, even in tough situations\n
Brilliant task and time management skills. Assigned tasks are completed on time, every time\n
Excellent attention to detail\n
Solid grasp of basic computer systems - Proficient in Microsoft Office systems\n
Forklift Certification\n
Heavy lifting up to but not limited to 70 lbs\n
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to stand for shift duration\n
Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm (orders / tasks must be completed and / or delegated prior to leaving)\n
Scheduled Saturdays for inventory 1-2 times a year\n
