Job Summary
As a CDL A Driver you will transport non-hazardous materials in the greater Chilton, WI area.
CDL A Drivers are expected to follow safety procedures when transporting materials and to perform safety inspections before and after each trip.
CDL A Drivers are required to load and / or unload their own trailer or a customer's trailer at the warehouse.

04 : 00am - 12 : 30pm (plus overtime)
Duties & Responsibilities
Drive and maneuver one-ton flat beds, goose neck trailers, curtain van, tractor with 5500g liquid bulk tanker, tractor with 53ft. van trailer, and a 26ft box truck with a lift gateDriving an 8-speed and 10-speed [manual] trailerTransport IBCs (250g and 330g totes) to customer locationOperate a [mechanical] pallet jackLoad and unload trucksEffectively, timely, and respectfully communicate and interact with other employees, supervisors, individuals from other organizations, and customersProficient with following verbal and written instructionsPlaces product securely in appropriate warehouse locations to ensure that damage or misplacement does not occurRetrieves and loads customer products as directed on shipping documents to ensure proper quantities and item identificationEnsures the interface with customers and co-workers is being conducted in a manner that is conducive to operational goalsConduct oneself in a professional manner and ensure personal appearance meets the standards necessary to perform the job functions while representing the companyNeatly store supplies and empty containersGeneral housekeepingPerform proper forklift inspections and follow forklift operating guidelines and proceduresComply with all safety requirements within the companyComply with all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements and safe handling practices as required from Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and company proceduresFollow WHMIS, MSDS and all other safety training requirements and proceduresFollow all government and regulatory requirements when handling and transporting chemical materialsPerform other duties as assigned or neededRegular and sustained attendanceQualifications
0-1-Year of driving experience as a licensed CDL A operatorExperience driving an 8-speed and 10-speed [manual]Must be open to schedule flexibilityNo more than 6-Points or 2-violations on your MVR in the past 12 monthsActive CDL A2-Years experience in a manufacturing and / or distribution facilityMust be able to read and write load diagrams, shipping orders, and work instructionsMust be able to operate electronic equipment, such as RF scanners or radios as assignedAbility to collaborate effectively and efficiently with colleaguesEffective communication skills and time managementGreat customer service skills and business acumenGreat self starter!Available Monday through Friday with some weekends (as needed)Willing to drive overnight runs as needed (rare occasion)Education Requirements
High School Diploma or GED equivalentOther Information
This position works in an enclosed building that is subject to variances in temperatures, extreme heat in summer, and colder temperature in winter. This position frequently lifts, pushes, pulls, or carries up to 50 pounds of product. This position can work various hours.
