Work hours : Full-time, 36 hours weekly, 3-12 hours shifts, 7p – 7a shift
Department Highlights
- 28 bed Telemetry Department provides telemetry and Med / Surg level of care for the general medical / surgical, endocrine GI / renal patient population ages Adult to Geriatric
- 4 / 5 : 1 patient to nurse ratio on days and 5 / 6 : 1 on nights working 12-hour shifts
- MAGNET facility
- Level III Trauma Center

Here’s What You Need
Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferredCurrent RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hireBCLS – prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly requiredACLS – within 90 days of hire requiredCPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training – within 90 days of hire1-year experience as a registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program requiredCurrent Telemetry experience preferred - will consider Med / Surg experienceIn addition to the required qualifications, a successful RN will
demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.The professional nurse exhibits understanding of basic human needs.The professional nurse demonstrates recognition and understanding of patient’s affiliations.What You Will Do
Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
