DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position, you will play a key role in helping consumers in therapeutic settings. You will be responsible for carrying out activities as directed by the Therapeutic Recreation Department, facilitating both individual and group activities that align with consumers' treatment plans. It will be important for you to observe and report on consumers' progress toward their individualized goals, while also supporting the the overall operations of the Therapeutic Recreation Department through tasks such as escorting, managing resources and supplies, and monitoring safety. Additionally, it will be your responsibility to maintain a clean and safe environment in assigned areas, ensuring a hazard-free space. Furthermore, you will serve as a key communicator between consumers' participation and the multidisciplinary treatment teams, providing important updates and progress reports.
