Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for an Electrician role in Ponca City, OK. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality products. Please note : The schedule for this position has been adjusted to better align with repair times when production is not running. This role will follow a 6 days on / 2 days off rotation schedule.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Ensure electrical systems comply with all relevant codes and safety standards.
  • Inspect electrical components such as transformers, circuit breakers, and wiring for proper operation.
  • Diagnose electrical problems using appropriate testing devices and tools.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
  • Work collaboratively with other trades and departments to complete projects efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Respond to service calls and emergency repairs promptly.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • State-issued Electrician License (Journeyman or higher).
  • Proven experience as an electrician, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, safety procedures, and relevant codes.
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and work in varying environments.
