Responsibilities Work in a hospital case management unit Day shifts, 5x8 hours per week, 8 : 00 to 16 : 30 Every other weekend required Assignment length is approximately 18 weeks Floating between all facilities within the state is required Uses Epic as the electronic medical record (EMR) system Responsible for comprehensive case management, coordination of care, and discharge planning Expected to float between facilities statewide as needed Mandatory completion of pre-start and annual training modules, with modules averaging about 16 hours to complete Holiday coverage is mandatory for specified holidays as part of the assignment Minimal time-off requests preferred; significant requests may delay or hinder placement Requirements Active and current CA RN license required Minimum of 2 years of relevant case management experience Proficiency with Epic EMR required Minimum of 2 supervisory references from comparable settings covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years Must commit to working at least 3 out of 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) Compliance with a 50-mile local radius rule for candidates living near the facility Former permanent staff must have at least a 3-month gap before returning as a traveler and must not live within 50 miles of the facility Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-623312.
