Cardiology - Interventional Physician

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Cardiologist to provide locum tenens coverage for scheduled call needs. This position offers the opportunity to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment, supporting a trauma-level 1 facility with a 64-bed cardiac unit.

• Provide both general and interventional cardiology call coverage, including emergent procedures and consultations.
• Perform patient evaluations, admissions, and ongoing management for patients per shift.
• Respond to phone consults and manage calls per shift with a 15-minute response time.
• Handle call-back cases with a 30% frequency.
• Supervise advanced practice providers (APPs) as needed.
• Collaborate with the inpatient cardiac care team to deliver high-quality care.
• Ensure accurate documentation in Epic EMR and maintain compliance with facility protocols.
