Title : System Support Engineer

Contract Duration : Up to 7+ months contract with potential extension
About the Role :
The client is seeking a Systems Support Engineer to support the technical aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively across interdisciplinary teams. You will play a key role in executing equipment qualifications, managing documentation, and maintaining compliance with quality and safety standards in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prioritize and execute daily work activities from the Liat task list
- Ship and receive Liats for depot repair service
- Induct new Liats into the equipment management system
- Execute equipment qualifications and manage review / approval workflows in the EDMS
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all Liat activities
- Apply and update labeling to reflect instrument status (GxP vs. non-GxP)
- Participate in daily huddle meetings and provide status updates
- Deliver timely and professional customer support
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and supervisors to ensure lab compliance and workflow optimization
- Adhere strictly to lab safety policies and procedures
Qualifications Required :
Associate degree in Engineering or equivalent training with relevant experience1–2 years of experience in instrument or equipment supportProven ability to learn new software tools and technical skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to follow established proceduresExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsFlexible, proactive, and customer-oriented mindsetPreferred :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field1+ years of hands-on experience in the medical device industryFamiliarity with molecular diagnostics productsWorking knowledge of hand tools and medical device equipmentUnderstanding of QSR, IVDD, and customer service concepts.
