The Plant Quality Manager is responsible for implementing and executing inspection, testing, and evaluation methods to ensure that our products adhere to quality standards. This role directs the investigation of problem batches to discern the root cause and develop sustainable solutions. They actively participate in quality continuous improvement efforts. The Plant Quality Manager leads the introduction and implementation of new formulas, technology, quality tools, manufacturing processes, and training.

Additional Information

Monday - Friday 8 : 00am to 5 : 00pm

Travel : 5%

This position is also eligible for bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company's applicable plans.

The Company conducts criminal history reviews to protect its operations, staff, and reputation, as the role involves contact with employees and access to confidential information.

Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship
  • Must have a bachelor's degree or higher or at least four (4) years of work experience in quality control / assurance or R&D
  • Must have at least five (5) years of work experience in R&D, product development, quality control / assurance, or operations
  • Prior experience with quality testing and quality systems management (e.g., ISO 9001)

Preferred Qualifications :

  • At least one (1) year of leadership or team supervision experience
  • Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt, Black Belt, etc.)
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry or Engineering
  • Experience in a multi-shift operation
  • Responsibilities :

  • Ensure compliance with quality procedures and standards
  • Manage and develop the quality team
  • Collaborate with Operations Manager to implement and support quality practices
  • Partner with Manufacturing Quality and Technology to identify priorities and develop quality tools
  • Work with Regional Technical Director on quality improvements and new formula introductions
  • Lead initiatives to improve quality results
  • Oversee new formula introduction
