We are seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon for a locum tenens assignment in Texas beginning Nov 24, 2025. This is a 52-day opportunity involving one clinic day per week and one surgical day (Monday to Friday, provider's choice), with typical hours from 8am to 5pm. The assignment focuses on treating injury-related cases, primarily involving the shoulder, knee, and elbow. Job Details Location : Texas Start Date : Nov 24, 2025 LOA : 52 days Provider Type Needed : Orthopedic Surgeon Schedule : Clinic every Wednesday from 10am to 5pm; one surgical day per week (Monday to Friday, provider's choice), 8am-5pm; 1-2 surgeries per surgical day Responsibilities and Duties Evaluate and treat approximately 15 patients per clinic afternoon (majority new cases, some follow-ups) Assess and manage injuries related to motor vehicle accidents, falls, and similar incidents, often under personal injury claims Focus on orthopedic conditions involving the shoulder, knee, and elbow Recommend and perform 1-2 surgeries per surgical day at local hospitals or surgical centers Document patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records Collaborate with legal representatives as needed for personal injury cases Additional Information Must hold a current Texas medical license Board certification requirements : Not specified Experience in orthopedic surgery and injury management preferred Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
