This is a full-time, nonexempt hourly position and reports to the Quality Control Manager.

Base pay range
$32.00 / hr - $36.00 / hr
Responsibilities
- Create high to extreme complex CMM inspection programs using PC-DMIS for semi-complex parts.
- Possess a thorough knowledge and understanding of GD&T usage and application.
- Interpret multiple specifications (e.g., MIL, SAE) and read blueprints.
- Work with little to no supervision to complete programming tasks based on scheduling.
- Review customer drawings, operational sketches and associated in-process inspection documents for required specifications.
- Assist with identification and segregation of rejected products or materials.
- Identify process improvements and correct any potential FOD-related items.
- Additional duties or responsibilities as assigned.
Competencies
Skilled with measuring equipment such as Manual CMM, DCC-CMM, Optical Comparators, Vision systems, scales, calipers, micrometers, and hand tools.Strong attention to detail, organizational, time management and follow-up skills.Ability to work from engineering drawings / specs, engineering change notices or established operating procedures.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Qualifications
Minimum of five+ (5) years in an Aerospace Manufacturing environment preferred; AS9100 or ISO9001 Quality Management System experience.GD&T Certificate required.High school diploma or GED.Hexagon PC-DMIS Training preferred.Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear, stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The position may require lifting office products, supplies and materials up to 20 pounds occasionally.
Work Schedule
This is a full-time position. Hours are Monday through Thursday 5 : 00 AM – 3 : 30 PM, Friday as required.
