Join Our Team as a Physical Therapist Assistant!

What You'll Do

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will :

  • Educate : Teach patients, families, caregivers, and fellow healthcare providers using effective methods.
  • Implement Care Plans : Follow the therapist’s plan of care, adjusting treatments based on patient responses while documenting all communications.
  • Document : Ensure all documentation aligns with our Clinical Documentation Policy.
  • Collaborate : Work closely with patients, families, and the medical team throughout the rehabilitation process.
  • Communicate : Clearly relay patient performance and recommendations for discharge and equipment needs.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you’ll need :

  • Education : An Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy Assistance.
  • Licenses / Certifications :

    • Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Illinois.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Continuing Education : Commitment to ongoing education, especially regarding acute stroke patient care and DNV Hip and Knee Replacement Certification requirements.

    • Compensation and Benefits

    The compensation range for this position is $22.40 - $37.41 per hour , depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support our team members and their families.
