Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with trauma and cardiac CT experience and expertise in Siemens equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Work in both inpatient and outpatient CT settings
  • Day shift schedule : Wednesday to Friday, 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM, with call responsibilities
  • Adult patient population
  • Duties include Cardiac CTs, Abdomen / Pelvis, Chest, Head / Neck, Spine / Musculoskeletal, Brain Perfusion, and other advanced imaging
  • Procedures include preparation and administration of contrast media, starting IVs, and performing or assisting with aspirations, biopsies, and drainages (preferred)
  • Utilizes Siemens CT equipment and PACS system
  • Epic is used for EMR documentation, experience preferred
  • Must be willing to comply with hurricane sign-up if required
  • Responsibilities include performing advanced cardiac and multi-modality CT scans, contrast administration, and supporting interventional procedures as needed
  • Participation in hurricane response protocols may be required
  • Online orientation and study resources for required assessments provided
  • Facility is smoke-free
  • Scrub color or dress code will be provided during onboarding
  • Locals within 60 miles are eligible for consideration but local pay rules apply

    • Requirements

  • ARRT-CT certification required
  • Active FL or compact state license required if applicable
  • BLS certification through AHA or ARC required
  • Minimum of 1 year recent CT experience, including trauma setting
  • Experience with Cardiac CTs and Siemens equipment is required
  • Experience with multiplanar reconstruction, CTA, CCTA, aspirations / biopsies, and drainages preferred
  • Must be able to work with adult patients and follow isolation precautions
  • Proof of vaccination required for consideration; declinations not accepted
  • Must pass required EKG / dysrhythmia testing before start
