QTC - Billing - Zuora Revenue Recognition Senior Consultant – US role at Slalom. Join to apply for this position.
Responsibilities
- Work with data integration technologies to design and implement new solutions and processes to support finance and accounting use cases.
- Design and document sound functional and technical solutions, including process flows, technical customizations, and integrations.
- Configure Zuora Revenue, develop test cases, and prepare mock data to validate business requirements and processes.
- Assist clients during conference room pilot sessions, user acceptance testing, and resolve issues.
- Support the customer with regularly scheduled calls to answer functional and technical questions.
- Design custom solutions / workarounds for identified gaps.
- Participate in data conversion activities and perform training on Zuora Revenue implementation, including period-close activities involving ERP and Revenue platforms.
- Develop and deliver custom training materials for customers.
- Learn new technologies as they emerge; exercise decision-making, time management, and task prioritization.
- Provide technical support for Revenue Recognition projects with clients.
- Translate business requirements into solutions that leverage Zuora Revenue or other Revenue platforms.
- Provide detailed level-of-effort estimates for proposed solutions and articulate benefits / risks of feasibility and functionality.
- Follow and understand new Revenue Recognition products and capabilities from product releases and acquisitions.
- Support sales efforts by estimating technical level of effort.
- Participate in technical integration discussions and design workshops; perform customer demos throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct requirements gathering and analysis sessions with clients.
- Configure and test Revenue Recognition applications and coordinate with upstream quote-to-cash applications to meet approved designs.
- Provide guidance on best-in-class billing strategies to clients.
- Travel up to 50% as required.
Qualifications
2-3 years of delivering revenue solutions within a professional services organization is preferred.Experience in at least one revenue recognition product (Zuora Revenue, Oracle Revenue Management, SAP RAR, NetSuite ARM, Workday Revenue Recognition).Knowledge and experience with implementing revenue recognition in alignment with ASC 606 or IFRS 15.2 years of customer-facing solution delivery and / or business consulting experience.Bachelors in Finance, Accounting, or Business is preferred.Experience in requirements gathering, use-case documentation, business analysis, systems design and integration, and user interface design and implementation is a plus.Experience implementing revenue recognition solutions and applications is required.Experience in data analysis, conversion and migration, interfaces and reports.Strong teamwork and communication skills at both business and technical levels; ability to collaborate in rapid-paced implementation environments.About Us

Compensation And Benefits

For this role, base salary ranges are $110,000 - $203,000 for Senior Consultant, with eligibility for annual discretionary bonuses. Actual compensation depends on skills, experience, location, and other factors.
