About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Certifications : BLS and ACLS required.

Must-Have : Experience in cardiac telemetry, including management of patients with post myocardial infarction, heart failure, arrhythmias, chest pain, and peripheral vascular disease.

Description :

The Registered Nurse will provide care to adult and geriatric patients in a cardiac telemetry setting.

The nurse is expected to demonstrate proficiency in telemetry monitoring and EKG interpretation.

Patient ratio is 1 : 5 in a unit of 16 beds with an average daily census of 16.

Daily responsibilities will include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.

The nurse will manage various therapies, including peritoneal dialysis and medication administration.

Additionally, skills in central line care / management, chest tube management, and vital sign monitoring are essential.

The role may involve floating to other cardiac telemetry units as needed.

No call requirements are associated with this position.

Travelers are expected to work major holidays that fall within their assignment period.

Full compliance with clinical requirements is necessary to start the assignment on time.

Local candidates will also be considered for this position.

References from supervisory personnel are preferred.

Candidates should be available to commence mandatory training and complete necessary documentation promptly.
