Neonatology physician job in Kansas : Topeka, Kansas Neonatologist OpeningPosition Type : Full-TimeSetting : Inpatient Level-III NICULocation : Topeka, KS (approximately 1 hour from Kansas City) Key Clinical Details

  • NICU Level : Level-III
  • Bed Count : 36
  • Average Daily Census : 26 patients
  • Team : 5 Neonatologists and Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs)
  • Call Coverage : Includes potential call and weekend shifts per department policy
  • Advanced Therapies :
  • High Frequency Ventilation
  • Inhaled Nitric Oxide
  • Total Body Cooling
  • Amplitude-integrated EEG (aEEG)
  • Subspecialty Support : Cardiology, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Hematology, Endocrinology Licensing & Credentialing

Board Status : Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine

  • Licensure : Kansas license required (can be obtained)
  • Visa Candidates : Open to J1 visa candidates
  • Locums : Not accepting locum tenens candidates
