Responsibilities of a Construction Project Manager | K-12 / Municipal | Austin TX \n

  • Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and contract management.

\n

  • Manage subcontractors, vendors, and field staff to ensure safety, quality, and productivity.

    • \n

  • Serve as the primary client contact, maintaining strong relationships and resolving issues proactively.

    • \n

  • Oversee documentation, RFIs, change orders, and progress reporting.

    • \n

  • Ensure compliance with public sector requirements, codes, and regulations.

    • \n \n

  • 5-10 years of commercial construction experience, ideally with K-12 and municipal projects .

    • \n

  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project).

    • \n

  • Strong budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration skills.

    • \n

  • Proven ability to lead teams with minimal oversight and foster collaboration.

    • \n

  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with a track record of building lasting relationships.
