Urology Locum Tenens Opportunity Near Alger, MI Join Our Team for a Rewarding Urology Locum Experience

Job Details :

  • Start Date :

ASAP - January 1, 2025

  • Coverage Hours :

    • Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 am - 4 : 30 pm

  • Patient Volume :

    • Clinic Volume : Approximately 35 patients per day

  • OR Volume : Variable, depending on case load (10-15 cases)
  • Support Staff :

    • Clinic equipped with a bladder scanner, Urodynamics, and UA

  • Dedicated support staff : 2 Medical Assistants (MAs) and 1 Receptionist
  • EMR :

    • Cerner

  • Onsite Facilities :

    • Lab onsite

  • X-ray onsite

    • Submission Requirements :

  • Rates :

    • Hourly / Daily rates must be submitted at the time of name clear (No exceptions)

  • Certification :

    • BC / BE Urology

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • Administrative Details :

    • Utilization of Kronos for clocking in / out (No paper timesheets)

  • No reimbursement for Med Staff Fees
  • No lodging booked through third-party websites (e.g., Expedia, Kayak)
  • McLaren is tax-exempt, and lodging taxes will not be reimbursed
  • Malpractice rates MUST be included in the rate
  • Background Check :

    • Clean background required for quick privileging

  • Licensing :

    • MI License in hand required at the time of clear

  • COVID Vaccine :

    • Required

    Certification and Licensing Requirements :

  • BLS Certification
  • Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Urology
  • Active Michigan State License
