This position will be a hybrid work arrangement. You will receive 18 remote workdays per quarter to use at your discretion, subject to manager approval.
HarbourVest Partners is currently seeking candidates for our 2-year Analyst program in the Primary Investment Group in Boston, MA, starting Summer 2026. Our Analyst program is designed to offer a unique experience that will launch your career through a role dedicated exclusively to the Private Equity and Venture Capital markets. After training, Analysts will be an integral part of HarbourVest's Primary Team, conducting due diligence on Private Equity and Venture Capital managers and fund opportunities alongside collaborative deal teams, and working on portfolio and pipeline management projects.
As an Analyst on the Primary Team, you will work with collaborative deal teams alongside senior-level investment professionals to conduct due diligence on US Venture Capital, Growth Equity and Private Equity managers. You will meet with managers who are actively raising funds and be responsible for creating detailed analytics that help drive investment decisions. In addition to conducting due diligence, you will be responsible for maintaining our manager pipelines and work on a variety of portfolio management initiatives. At the end of the 2-year Analyst program, you will be well-equipped to continue your career in a variety of roles within the Private Equity / Venture Capital industry.
