Entry Level Structural Engineer (New York)

Job Description

Our firm is seeking an entry-level Structural Engineer to join our dynamic design team. We are a structural design firm with a 60+ year history, consistently delivering safe and economical structures. Typical projects include ground up high-rise concrete structures throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, and the outer boroughs. The successful candidates shall be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and prepared to work in a true team atmosphere.

Candidate Requirements :

0-2 years professional experience

Has a strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals and relevant building codes

Masters degree in structural engineering or related fields with relevant course work in concrete and steel design preferred. Applicants with bachelors degree and relevant course work will be considered.

Knowledge of computer software such as ETABS, SAFE, RISA, etc.

Familiar with latest version of AutoCAD and Revit.

Strong written and oral communication skills

Ability to meet project deadlines

Ability to working in a team environment

Assists team in preparing construction contract documents, plans, and reports
