Tubacex Group is one of the leading producers of seamless, stainless steel tubing products in the world. Operating in a 185,000 square foot facility, Salem Tube utilizes weld mills and cold draw benches to produce stainless steel and nickel alloy tubing from 1 / 8” to 2” od in over twenty-five different alloys that meet the highest quality standards. About the Role

The role involves various maintenance responsibilities to ensure the smooth operation of our facility.

Responsibilities

• Plans / schedules preventive maintenance activities
• Uses overhead pendant controlled cranes for maintenance purposes
• Operates lift truck for maintenance
• Operates grinders, drill presses, conduit bending machines / devices, and other powered shop equipment and hand tools necessary
• Utilizes electric testing devices / meters while performing maintenance duties
• Maintains and services overhead cranes
• Installs electrical conduit and runs electric lines as required
• Maintains and troubleshoots pneumatic and hydraulic systems equipment and components
• Monitors and maintains electrical equipment associated with plant
• Maintains and monitors the cooling water system, water treatment system and chemical treatment system
• Performs general housekeeping duties necessary to maintain a safe and clean working environment

Qualifications

Required Skills

Experience with various maintenance tasks and equipment as listed above.

Preferred Skills

Additional certifications or training in maintenance and repair processes.
