Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse (RN) to join a healthcare facility in Duluth, MN on a 13-week travel assignment. The RN will provide immediate, high-quality care to patients with emergent and life-threatening conditions. The ideal candidate is experienced in emergency nursing, thrives in high-acuity, fast-paced environments, and is committed to delivering safe, compassionate, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform rapid assessment, triage, and initiate appropriate interventions for patients with emergent and critical conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications, IV therapies, and emergency interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members to stabilize and treat patients.
• Monitor and interpret vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and responses to treatment.
• Assist in trauma care, resuscitation efforts, and emergency procedures as needed.
• Provide patient and family education on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and progress in the medical record.
• Adhere to infection control standards, safety protocols, and evidence-based practices in emergency nursing.
