$2,508 per week

About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Profession : RN

Specialty : Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

Duration : 14 weeks

Shift : Rotating shifts

Hours per Shift : 40.00

Experience :

  • Minimum of two years current experience required in specialty.
  • At least one 13-week previous travel assignment is required.

License :

  • Current state or compact state nursing license required.
  • Certifications :

  • BLS certification completed through an approved organization.
  • ACLS certification through an approved organization.
  • PALS certification completed through an approved organization.
  • Must pass the basic cardiac arrhythmias testing during the first week of assignment.
  • Must-Have :

  • Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment.
  • Description :

    Utilizes the nursing process to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients during a shift.

    Ensures safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care of patients.

    Provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting individual patient needs, actions taken, and patient responses.

    Coordinates patient care through collaboration with the patient and healthcare team.

    Initiates, utilizes, and documents appropriate protocols and standards of care.

    Administers medication and treatments as prescribed by a physician or standard protocols and documents according to policy.

    Identifies and meets patient and family learning and discharge needs on admission and throughout the episode of care.

    Assumes responsibility for the clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel.

    Completes patient population, age-specific, procedure, and protocol education and competency testing per unit standards.

    Floating between departments and / or local locations within a specified distance is required.
