Virtus Healthcare Staffing is supporting the recruitment efforts for an open Staff Sonographer - Women's Health (RDMS AB or OB / GYN) position at a leading academic medical center in Burlington, VT . This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with Day / Evening shifts and scheduled weekend rotation.

Requirements : Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program, Radiologic Technology program, or equivalent two-year allied health program

ARDMS registration required with ABD (Abdominal) or OB / GYN credential

Experience

Minimum 2 years (24 months) of clinical diagnostic ultrasound experience preferred

Skills

Advanced technical expertise to perform tailored examinations and recognize diagnostic pathology

Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams

Perform routine and complex diagnostic ultrasound imaging tailored to each patient's clinical presentation

Customize examinations to overcome anatomical challenges and obtain high-quality diagnostic images

Collaborate closely with physicians and radiology staff to ensure accurate diagnosis and optimal patient care

Maintain technical competency and assist in the orientation of new team members or trainees

Promote compassionate, age-appropriate care in all patient interactions
