Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing firm, is currently seeking a Local Travel LVN for a Med Surg Unit just outside Reno, Nevada , on the California side . This 13-week assignment offers the perfect mix of high-impact healthcare work and access to the vibrant lifestyle of the Reno-Tahoe region. Position Overview : \n\n

As a Licensed Vocational Nurse on the Med Surg Unit, you will be responsible for providing compassionate, evidence-based care to patients recovering from surgery, illness, or injury. This is a great opportunity for an experienced LVN looking to stay local while earning competitive travel pay.

Job Responsibilities :

\n\n \n\t

Provide direct patient care under RN supervision, following individualized care plans

\n\t\n\t

Monitor vital signs and record patient progress and symptoms

\n\t\n\t

Administer medications, wound care, and treatments as prescribed

\n\t\n\t

Assist patients with activities of daily living and mobility support

\n\t\n\t

Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team

\n\t\n\t

Ensure compliance with safety standards and infection control procedures

\n\t\n

\n\n

Qualifications : \n\n \n\t

Active California LVN License – Required

\n\t\n\t

Minimum 1 year of experience in a Med Surg or acute care setting

\n\t\n\t

Current BLS certification

\n\t\n\t

Ability to adapt in fast-paced environments

\n\t\n\t

Strong documentation and communication skills

\n\t\n

\n\n

Contract Details : \n\n \n\t

Weekly Pay : Up to $2,285 / week (Depending on Experience)

\n\t\n\t

Shift : Days; may include weekends and holidays

\n\t\n\t
