Overview
Our client's Richmond office seeks an eDiscovery Staff Attorney to join its Commercial Litigation Department . This role requires overseeing discovery operations from start to finish, serving as a trusted liaison between clients, case teams, and service providers, and ensuring the highest standards of accuracy, efficiency, and compliance throughout the litigation process.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the logistics of e-discovery from planning through trial, ensuring a transparent and efficient process.
- Serve as the primary liaison among case teams, Litigation Support, contract review attorneys, trial services, clients, and vendors.
- Monitor and report progress on discovery operations, including costs, timelines, and outstanding tasks.
- Collaborate with case teams and clients to define project budgets, goals, and technical requirements.
- Supervise and coordinate document review teams or external review services.
- Assist in fact development, including interviewing witnesses and translating findings to review teams.
- Oversee collection, processing, review, and production of documents, and support their use in depositions, motions, and trials.
- Adapt to shifting deadlines and manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school with a strong academic record.Active membership in the Virginia State Bar (required).Minimum of 2 years of relevant ediscovery experience in a top 100 law firmProficiency with Relativity and other leading review platforms; significant experience managing large-scale ediscovery projects preferred.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across client, business, and legal teams.Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills.To Apply
