Overview :

Join the dedicated team at McLaren Greater Lansing in this rewarding Cardiovascular Technician role. The Cardiovascular / Interventional Laboratory delivers a comprehensive range of advanced cardiac and vascular procedures, including cardiac catheterizations, angiographies, peripheral angioplasty with or without stent placement, venographies, cardiac pacemaker insertions, and various non-vascular interventional procedures. This position supports both inpatient and outpatient services, offering a dynamic environment where your skills directly impact patient care and outcomes.

What You Will Do :

Assist during complex cardiovascular and interventional procedures, ensuring optimal patient safety and care.

Prepare and operate specialized equipment for diagnostics and interventions.

Monitor patients' vital signs and responses throughout procedures.

Maintain meticulous documentation of procedures performed.

Ensure the procedure area remains sterile and well-managed.

Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide seamless patient care.

What You Bring :

Proven experience working in a cardiovascular or interventional radiology setting.

Strong understanding of cardiac and vascular procedures and equipment.

Excellent clinical skills, including patient monitoring and post-procedure care.

Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment, demonstrating professionalism and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills to coordinate with medical teams and patients.

Flexibility to work day shifts with a guaranteed 40 hours per week.

Preferred Education & Experience :

High school diploma or equivalent required; Completion of a relevant technical or vocational training program preferred.

Prior experience as a cardiovascular technician or in a similar role is highly desirable.

Familiarity with cardiac devices such as pacemakers and defibrillators is a plus.

Certifications & Licenses :

Current CPR / BLS certification (required).

Must possess valid state licensure or certification as a Cardiovascular Technician or an equivalent credential.

Compensation & Benefits :

Weekly stipend of $409.82 with a taxable pay of $587.41.
