Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an X-ray Technologist for night shifts in a diagnostic radiology unit, requiring ARRT, CT ARRT, and BLS certifications.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is in a diagnostic radiology unit
  • Night shifts from 6 : 45 PM to 7 : 00 AM, Friday through Sunday
  • 12-week assignment
  • Must be able to perform venipuncture for contrast injections
  • Work environment may include mobile and stationary radiographic / fluoroscopic equipment
  • Holiday coverage may be required depending on schedule
  • Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers

  • Current ARRT-R and CT ARRT certifications required
  • Current BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross required
  • Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited program
  • Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology required
  • Proficiency with mobile and stationary radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment required
  • Venipuncture certificate with proficiency in IV starts for contrast injections required
  • Familiarity with State and Federal regulations required
  • At least 1 year of acute, clinical radiology experience preferred
  • Proficient computer skills required
  • License required if applicable
