Manager Of Field Human Resources

Meritage Hospitality Group is seeking a Manager of Field Human Resources to join the team!

The Manager of Field Human Resources is responsible for leading a team of HR Business Partners (HRBP) to success as the drivers of Human Resources (HR) support and partnership for their area of the business. This includes establishing the HR team as the strategic partners for all things related to Talent Development and Employee Relations (ER). They drive their team to influence Culture, Performance Management, Leadership Development, and employment-related risk mitigation. They also act as the lead investigator on all Title VII complaints within the organization and will be the lead HR point of contact for all EEOC and HR litigation cases.

Essential Functions :

  • Establishes goals and direction for success of HRBP with influence from the Sr. Manager of Human Resources.
  • Equip team to utilize market-level data and analytics to support Operations partners in driving Culture, Performance Management, Leadership Development and HR Risk Compliance.
  • Lead and develop the HRBP team to have the skills to be effective partners to the leaders in their area of the business.
  • Lead HRBP team to effectively support their Operations partners to establish and maintain a healthy pipeline of talent that is growing and able to fill future openings.
  • Act as lead investigator on all Title VII Cases and advisor to HRBP team on any other ER claims.
  • Partner with Risk Management and Legal departments on all Litigation, EEOC and other HR-related charges.
  • Equip the HRBP team to support Operations leaders in staffing and workforce plans, partnering with the Talent Acquisition team.
  • Ensures the HRBP Team partners with Risk Management, Operations, and other departments to support compliance to labor employment laws and company policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for Background Adjudications as needed.
