Drafting | Programmer

Join our team as a CAD Drafter / CAM Programmer, where you'll transform design concepts into precise, build-ready fabrication drawings. This role offers a blend of technical drafting and creative problem-solving in a fast-paced production environment.

LOCATION

Portland, OR

SALARY

$26-32 / hr. DOE

SCHEDULE Full-time, Monday-Friday | 7 : 00am-3 : 30pm

    • KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create detailed shop fabrication drawings using AutoCAD from architectural and interior design blueprints or renderings, applying expertise in woodworking and architectural detailing.
  • Write and optimize CNC machine code with Mastercam to ensure efficient and accurate production.
  • Collaborate closely with production and design teams to verify drawing accuracy and buildability.
  • Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, using software shortcuts to maximize efficiency while maintaining clear communication.

    • WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Minimum 2 years of experience with AutoCAD for drafting and detailing.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience using Mastercam to write CNC machine code.
  • Ability to interpret architectural and interior design drawings to create accurate, buildable shop fabrication drawings.
  • Familiarity with architectural woodworking and detailing.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and efficient use of software shortcuts and tools.

    • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    This role requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a computer workstation. Occasional lifting of materials or equipment up to 25 lbs may be necessary.
