Required to work 2 of 3 : Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’sLimit of 1 day off request between 11 / 26–11 / 30 / 25 and 12 / 23–1 / 2 / 26 for all travelers, regardless of holidays workedSchedule / Department Details :
May float to NICU – must be willing to floatWhen floated, RN will care for “feeders and growers” (babies on oxygen or antibiotics; not the sickest patients)
Pediatric ICU : 12-bed, all-private rooms staffed by pediatric critical care doctorsPediatric Transport Team : Provides critical care access statewide under pediatric critical care or emergency medicine physician directionFacility Features :12 single patient rooms with private bathrooms and showers
Family Consultation Room & Family Lounge with kitchenetteState-of-the-art equipment for efficient patient monitoringPatient / family-centered amenities : pull-out beds, reclining chairs, privacy curtains, TVs, and individual sound systemsRequirements :
Experience : 2+ years PICU; Critical Care experience strongly encouragedCertifications : PALS (AHA) required, BLS (AHA) requiredEMR : EPIC experience requiredLicensure : Iowa RN license (Compact allowed)Willingness to float to NICU when neededSubmission Requirements :
