A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. • Work day shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM, 5 days per week
• On-call requirements : 2 weeks per month with 1-hour response time
• Operating room experience required
• Must have access to EPIC and PYXIS systems
• Work as primary caregiver providing direct patient care for open heart surgery patients
• Apply nursing skills and processes to develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
• Collaborate with care team members, physicians, and patient / family to achieve optimal outcomes
• Make independent decisions and work collaboratively with others
• Handle confidential patient information appropriately
• Work under direct supervision of Nurse Manager and indirect supervision of Director of Nursing
