Position Title : CNC Machinist

Department : Machine Shop

Location : Fenton, MO

Reports To : Production Supervisor - Machine Shop

Classification : Hourly - Non-Exempt

Available Shifts :

• 2nd Shift - (Monday - Thursday 3 : 15pm - 1 : 15am), (Monday - Friday 3 : 15pm - 12 : 15am), or (Monday - Thursday 3 : 15pm - 11 : 15pm and Friday 9 : 00am - 5 : 00pm)

Position Summary :

CNC Machinist / Operator position responsible for machining of components using a variety of CNC lathes and mills while following the documented procedures, including safety procedures. Will be responsible for the quality of parts produced. Assists in the instruction of set-up, operators, and operator trainees. Diagnose, troubleshoot and make adjustments. May be assigned to remove and / or replace worn or defective parts. Must have the fundamental tools to safely and effectively perform the job. PPE such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and hearing protection are required at all times.

Work Environment

Will be exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, oils, and chemicals in a loud manufacturing environment. Will be standing on concrete the entire shift.
